Is the second law true ?

The second law has a several statements, nearly all are  negative statements  begin with :
      we cannot ……………
So this law cannot be proved, and the only reason for its staying is, the lack of anything natural or man-made does not apply to it up till now, but this does not mean it is certainly true .
But there is an important question : if it were not true , why is it applied successfully from nearly 160 years on both natural and man-made systems ??
The answer is : the nature of the nature and the lack of technology.
There is a simple example : In the age of Isaac Newton the speed of escape from gravity was calculated , but there was  not  a natural thing  on earth has this speed, and also  man did not make  anything faster than the wagon pulled by horses, was it supposed  that there should be a Fourth Law of mechanics stated  " we cannot escape from the field of gravity""  ??  !!

Unfortunately, this wrong logic was behind the second law of thermodynamics .

The horse can't escape from the field of gravity,
 .but this space shuttle can

so it isn't impossible to convert heat to useful work with 100% efficiency .

  1. regarldess of whether the second law is correct or not, the analogy with the assumed fourth law of Newton is not realistic.
because its formulation says "we cannot escape from gravity" although you previously mentioned that it is theoretically possible to escape from gravity if we have a certain speed. this simply means that at that time there was a hypothetical acceptance to the fact that escaping from gravity is possible.
maybe you dont know the difference between theory, theorem, physical law, technological limitation, and so on
